SJF Securitized Credit Fund is committed to following sound corporate governance principles. We recognize that the key to our relationship with shareholders is trust. To build this trust, we are committed to providing full disclosure and transparency regarding fund governance. The Board of Trustees represent the interests of shareholders. The Board, along with the executive officers, are constantly guided by their fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interests of the shareholders they serve.
Board responsibilities
The trustees oversee all the portfolios and, among other duties, are responsible for:
- Overseeing and reviewing fund performance.
- Overseeing each fund's business, including the quality of its administrative, custody, distribution and investor services, pricing and fund audits.
- Reviewing the fees that SJF charges and negotiating new fees where appropriate.
- Reviewing and approving each fund's operating expenses and any changes to its investment objective and strategy.
